River cruises are on 2-deck longboats that are much smaller than ocean cruise ships usually with 150 to 225 passengers creating a more relaxing and intimate experience. These cruises are more “destination intensive” allowing more time to explore the port on shore excursions. They sail on most large rivers in Europe, the USA, Africa, Russia, China, and Southeast Asia.

Most of the cabins have Riverview balconies that vary in size. They feature intimate performances by local musicians and dance groups. The ship’s cuisine focuses on cultural and local favorites in addition to traditional dishes with a country club atmosphere.
